New York University faculty will be featured in “Women in Science,” a panel discussion that is part of the global “Pint of Science” festival, on Wed., May 20, 7 p.m. at Brooklyn’s DSK biergarten (710 Fulton St.).
Speakers and presentations include: Suzanne Dikker, a research scientist in NYU’s Department of Psychology (“On the Same Wavelength: How Do Our Brains Synch Up?”); Wendy Suzuki, a professor of neural science and psychology at NYU and author of the forthcoming Healthy Brain Happy Life (“I Am My Own Experiment”); and Sandra Masur, a professor at Mt. Sinai (“The XX Files: The Mystery of the Missing Women Professors”). The event will be moderated by Nina Gray, executive director of the Neuroscience Institute at NYU Langone Medical Center.
